We appreciate your interest in our program. We are through the Elmore County Board of Education and we are 1 of 4 preschools and after-school programs in the Elmore County area. We are located at 499 N. Alabama Street. Our hours of operation are 7:00-6:00. We have a K3-K4 preschool program as well as an after school program for grades K-6th. Our pre-K classes follow the Easy Breezy Curriculum as well as learn about seasonal themes through My Big World with Clifford. Each classroom is equipped with computers for daily computer activities. We also go on several field trips throughout the year and have activities at the center such as our annual Thanksgiving program, breakfast with Santa, and our yearly graduation/achievement program held at the end of each year.
Our after school children are offered a snack after school, enjoy some physical activity before settling back down for homework time. Assistance is offered for homework if needed. Our after-school teachers also plan a variety of activities and games for the afternoon. Summers are filled with lots of summertime activities as well as weekly field trips.
There is a $30 yearly registration fee per child.
Lunch may be purchased from the lunchroom for $2.75 per day or you may bring a lunch. You may apply for Free/Reduced lunch at www.myschoolapps.com. We provide a morning and an afternoon snack.
