Short Term & Long Term ECAP

Short Term and Long Term ECAP serve all Elmore County Schools. Students may be assigned to Short Term ECAP for up to ten days at a time for violations of the Elmore County Code of Conduct; however, additional days may be added if a student does not follow ECAP rules or for violations of the Elmore County Code of Conduct. Students who are assigned greater than ten days will be assigned to Long Term ECAP.

Parents are required to attend an intake session at ECAP before a child can participate in the program. We host intake every morning beginning at 7:20, and parents should allow a minimum of 20 - 25 minutes for intake. Depending on the number of students starting on this day, parents might have to wait. Parents should park on either side of the street. They should not park in the parking lot, and vehicles should be completely out of the street. Those arriving after 7:45 will be required to come back the following day.

When a student is assigned to ECAP, the principal or assistant principal gives that student a copy of the rules for ECAP, but we have attached a link to them below. Please review these rules with your student and return a signed copy of the rules to ECAP on your student's first day.
